Inactive Cities

I do apoligize if this is a repeat. But how do you tell if a City is due to be deleted? I am not one to attack someone if they are playing the game. But I see no harm it pillaging a City if it is soon to be deleted.

If their name is grey and has an ( i ) at the end that means they have not log in for quite some time. Not sure what the deletion timeline is but I have only seen perhaps 2-3 of the many greys I have attacked return to the normal text.

try this then, if they go grey..meaning they have not logged in in some time. Send a message, saying you will be pillaging them and if they return you are more then happy to not only stop but help them get back on their feet. Chances are if they are grey their warehouse is full and they are not taking in more resources and by the time you do get your 6 attacks in in 24 hours they are full again.

Feature - Inactivity deletion will immediately be performed in regular intervals

* Phase 0: If somebody takes no action within 5 hours after registering an account, it will be immediately deleted.
* Phase I: Within the first 7 days: - Time until inactive: 2 days - Time inactive until deletion: 2 days
* Phase II: Two weeks up to a month: - Time until inactive: 7 days - Time inactive until deletion: 4 days
* Phase III: 1 month to 3 months - Time until inactive: 7 days - Time inactive until deletion: 14 days
* Phase IV: from 3 months onward: - Time until inactive: 7 days - Time inactive until deletion: 30 days

1: I don't know that.

2: Yes you're city continues doing whatever when you're logged out.

3: Since the answer above is yes I'm going to guess that this one is yes two.

To the rest of the thread just pillage them dry and if they comeback and complain about it offer to return the resources or pay in gold which ever they think is fair.

Seeing as pillaging is built into the game I can't see any reason to have a moral objection to doing it. Inactive or not. Just be prepared for counter-attacks if the person you are pillaging is able to mount them.

If someone has gone inactive, they're more likely than not maxed in their warehouse anyway. And, like someone else said earlier, pillaging IS built into the game. Anyone gone that long should expect to be pillaged. Shoot, if I go 24 hours without logging on, I pretty much expect to be pillaged (though I'm usually not because my army is decent.)
