What kinda of self righteous stuck up crap is that? If you do not have anything positive to add to a thread then just do not comment.
Sorry but common sense also dictates that if someone asks a question that means that do not understand what is up and languages are not Common Sense.
So if someone can please give the direct translation that would be great and yes though you can determine specific words it does not mean that the whole jiest of the message is what you assume. For all I know it means give all your military to them or you are declaring war.

Actually although English is a Germanic language it greatly differs from German. It is simply not true that "70%" of our words are similar. English is sort of the rebel-child of Germanic languages. Our words are actually more similar to romance languages, but our grammer and sentance structure are "Germanic". Also there are several false cognates in every language. A false cognate is a word that sounds like a word in your language, but means something entirely different.
Anyway, I thought I'd point that out so people understand why "common sense" can't always be used.
I also wanted to contribute something helpful to this thread. A really good German to English web dictionary can be found at : http://dict.leo.org/ende?searchLoc=1&sea…inked=1&search=
All you have to do is type in the german word next to the yellow lion in the top left-hand corner, and it will give you the english translation. Just make sure you have the words spelled correctly!

My goodness! How can anyone not know that Aufnahmegesuch anfragen means admission request?!? Look at how closely Aufnahmegesuch resembles admission and how closely, anfragen resembles request.
Heck, Aufnahmegesuch and Admission both begin with the letter A, even!
And, everyone knows that a German word that ends in H means it should end in N in English, am I right? I think we probably all learned that in kindergarten.
