On the contrary, I've agreed with several VII officials that this war will only be for fun on both sides; no hard feelings on either side.
Some of their members wanted a reason to show that their alliance is militarily strong, while our aggressive members, in a passive alliance, wanted to have some fun of their own, as well. No one in our alliance is forced to participate in this war, only those that want to.
Just ask Lady Juggalette from VII; she wants this war to showcase her military abilities.

i dont think they need your helps. they can win easly.
We're included in this war because they asked us to join them, so we did.
You have to remember that this is only a game; regardless of alliance ranks, we're only doing this for fun.

We don't want to declare war on a stronger alliance because they're most likely in either UAA or AWC; we're in UAA; this could cause problems.
Same with alliances in other leagues.
We're just looking for good, clean fun in this case; we offer no forms of hatred nor dislike for the VII members. Not doing it to "show them who's boss," either. It may actually get them to become a stronger alliance, in a way, by building stronger defenses for future attacks.
In a way, we're helping VII with their defense.

You claim to be looking for "good, clean fun", yet you fear to play with the others in your "league" for fear of someone taking it poorly . . . yet you have no compunctions to take on the Sith Imperium regardless of how it is taken. Already there is talk of SDY's fellow members of Warheadz joining the war on the Empire. The Citystates of every planet in the Empire will prove their worth, even if SDY needs to bring in other alliances to help them defend The Black Rose, an alliance whose members will not even raise a hand to defend themselves or attempt any form of diplomacy other than begging for help elsewhere.
