Full explanation of the bug: entered combat with an inactive with only walls. Started with 12 cats, 6 mortars, 20 phalanx.
Over 5 rounds Lost 2 phalanx and mortars went back to reserve after expending ammo(to be expected) , but catapults are disapearing! Over several rounds, have slowly lost 6 catapults. They are not shown as casualties (nor should be) and are not in reserve...simply gone.
you didnt ¨cover the seige untis, 20 phalanxes only fill one slot., so basically, you woudl have lost 2 catapults per rounds. which can pretty much easely leave you without any catapults in a very short time. If you had send around 70 phalanxes you would have lost more phalanxes around 6-8 but in compensation you would not have lost any catapults. Basically, your catapults occupied two slots and your mortars one slot in the artillery, if the wall was higher then 15 (I think) there was three slots then it left two slots uncovered by lack of front line troops, if two slots, one slot was uncovered for lack of front line in each case, you woudl have lost 2 catapults per round maybe more in my first example.
And what is even worse, you dont see any catapults being killed they simply, as you said, disappear. You realize it if you check the number of catapults and see them go down each rounds. Annoying...very annoying.
No matter what you would have suffered casualties

yes they can, the higher the wall is the more damages it inflicts, though with only mortars it wont last long but with catapults, it is another story. We wer enot informed of course not, otherwise where is the fun?, that we would have to be this precise. But people with catapults and no mortars or not enough mortars, best cover up the first three middle lines by hopelites or spears, spears work for lower walls.
