Cultural goods treaty?

How do you create a cultural goods treaty?? Can you get more than one slot filled from the same player?

Also, when you join an alliance, do you receive goods from that alliance? Do they receive goods from you? I just read a thread that said you need to find an alliance that will give goods to new players? Can someone please explain??

Thank you in advance :)

Nevermind on the cultural treaty question. Still looking for answers about the alliances, though. Thanks.

You get whatever they feel like giving you, there is nothing built into the system. I guess the suggestion is to find a generous alliance.

I'd love to know where this mythical thread is that promises goods to new recruits. This is the second time I've heard this, and it's just as false as the first time.

SOME alliances may CHOOSE to give gifts out. However there's absolutely nothing in it for the alliance in question except to get another warm body in to inflate their scores.

Nope.
Cultural treaties will stay the same - just need a museum.

Thanks to you SO much.

Where did you get the information?
Do my search skills suck? :P
Or do you just have an account on .org or the test server etc.???

But bunch of useful information can be found on wikikariam website :1:

Edit: you can also browse through the 0.3 discussions here on the board - in "general" section.

Since the update I cannot make cultural treaties.
I do not get the option at the cities as I normally did.
I do not get anything via the museum nor via diplomacy.
I do not have any cultural treaties unanswered.
I have 19 cultural treaties.

How do I get new cultural treaties?
Please help very frustrating.
I find no help in wiki nor searching the forum.

What is wrong?

Thanks you sirs/ladies!

Do you have any free space in any museum?
If all your museums are filled, you cant make further cultural treaties.

But if you send lots of cultural treaties (say 15, all get later accepted) while you have little place in your museums left (say 3 in total), you CAN have excess cultural goods. (In our case 12 unused ones.) Thats the only way for how your total cultural goods can exceed your total museum levels summed up.
