To post a CR that's nicely formatted you can use any of these methods. I use them all and I recommend any of them.
The first and easiest one to use is an online CR converter you can find here
http://tools.betawarriors.com/ikcrc/
The instructions on how to convert a CR is available on the same page and is pretty easy to follow. For the purpose of posting your CR on the forum you need to set the output to "bbcode". I found that setting the output to "circular" produces standard HTML which does not always work. If you want to generate a CR readable for an alliance circular, simply set the output to "plain text".
Another more involved option is to create a
gamestats.org account and post/publish your CRs there. GameStats allows more than just CR posting, and it is really such a handy tool for playing ikariam. The good thing about GameStats is that you can actually post a "visual" of the CR report for anyone to see, without having to do any screenshots or photo editing. GameStat provides its own help section and offer options to transfer your account data (not just CRs) from Ikariam manually and via a Grease Monkey Script / FireFox.
A final way that involves the installation of a Grease Monkey Script and the use of FireFox browser, is an approved CR converter script that generates a formatted CR
inline i.e on the same page just underneath the overview CR.
The script is located in this thread
Why bother posting a CR, let alone formatting it nicely?
Posting CRs is about bragging rights, granted!!
Nonetheless, they also help your alllies locate recently defeated enemy members within their coordinates to pick on them, finish them off, and keep them down, preventing them from gaining enough time/resources to rebuild their armies. All the while enduring the least possible losses on their part. This strategy should bring about a quicker end to your wars, as your opponents will most likely surrender under the pressure of continuous merciless attacks.
